Agua Fresca Sorbet
This may be the most refreshing form of agua fresca ever. Traditional sorbets add sugar but this recipe features honey, which contains no preservatives but does contain minerals like zinc and selenium. The lime juice has vitamin C, which is an antioxidant, making this watermelon treat refreshing with just the right amount of sweet. This recipe and video were produced by Tastemade.
6 cups seedless watermelon, diced into chunks
1/3 cup water
3 tbsp. fresh lime juice
3 tbsp. cup raw honey
- Place watermelon on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place into the fridge for at least 4-6 hours, ideally overnight.
- Once frozen, place into the bowl of a food processor, along with the raw honey, water, and lime juice, and blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately, or freeze for 30-45 minutes to harden.
