More than 30 million people in the United States suffer from migraine ... with 400,000 migraine sufferers right here in southern Nevada.
The Inpatient Headache Program at the San Martín Campus was the first in the nation to receive accreditation by the Joint Commission. A multi-disciplinary approach is used to break the cycle of intractable headaches by providing detoxification from medication overuse, initiating new, more effective treatments and providing preventative options, such as nutritional counseling and physical therapy, during your stay. The program emphasizes patient and family-centered therapies to improve the quality of life for those who suffer with headaches.
During your stay, a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists, dietitians, physical and activity therapists and counselors work with you to develop your individualized treatment program. Our program focuses on returning you to an active lifestyle as quickly as possible. Each step is carefully tailored to you – your headache condition will be carefully evaluated, the origin of your headaches will be determined and a treatment plan will be developed specifically for you.
Don't let your headaches keep you from enjoying life! Learn more about the Inpatient Headache Program at the San Martin Campus by calling 702.492.8000.
