Diabetes Education

Mercy Medical Center offers free diabetes classes to help you learn how to better manage life with diabetes.

Community Diabetes Class

These courses are designed to help educate those with diabetes on how to comfortably manage and live with their disease. Class topics include: Your Diabetes Guide, Living Well With Diabetes, Diabetes...What Now?, and Diabetes...Did You Know? All Diabetes classes are free and open to the public.

This class is also available in Spanish.

Diabetes Education Program

Available to anyone interested in learning about diabetes. Designed to assist individuals with pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes to delay its onset or manage blood glucose levels in the body and reduce diabetic complications.

To Register: There is no cost to participate in this program, however registration is required. To register, call Mercy Medical Center's Community Health Department at (209) 564-4312.

Diabetes Support Group

Diabetes can seem to be an overwhelming condition because it impacts so many areas of your daily life. It’s important to have support from family, friends and from other people with diabetes. Don't underestimate the importance of peer support.Our Diabetes Support Group meets twice a month.
