Derrick H. Adams, DO, FAOCD

Dr. Adams has a special interest in skin cancer and medical dermatology, authoring a wide range of articles across dermatology, pharmacology, and dermatological surgery. He treats all diseases of the skin to include: psoriasis, eczema, and autoimmune diseases. As the field of dermatology arose from within internal medicine, and Dr. Adams’ approach to the skin takes into account the global health and well-being of the patient.

A particular interest for Dr. Adams is evaluating the cost/benefit ratio and science behind treatments. He prides himself on being the “Consumer Reports” of dermatology and not over treating patients.

Nancy J. Anderson, MD

Prior to joining Lassen Medical Clinic in 1990, Dr. Anderson worked in dermatology and family practice settings in Detroit and Southern California. In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Anderson is a long-standing member of the Loma Linda University faculty teaching internal medicine, dermatology, pediatrics and pathology. She has also held a variety of administrative and committee positions and has consulted for hospitals in Loma Linda, Riverside and San Bernardino. Dr. Anderson presents continuing medical education lectures locally and nationally to various medical groups and societies, and is a principal investigator in a funded research project examining a multi-center open registry of patients with psoriasis who are candidates for systemic therapy including biologics.

Julie Charlesworth, WHNP-C

Julie is an expert in the use of the Cutera Laser and Cosmetic procedures. In 2005, she was chosen as a trainer by Cutera Laser Company to teach doctors, nurses, nurse practitioners and registered nurses the proper technique of the Cutera laser systems. She has traveled extensively throughout California and into Canada conducting training sessions.
