Care Philosophy

Dr. Zimmerman received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. and completed his Internship and Residency at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse, New York. He completed his Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Zimmerman is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He has been in practice since 1978 and, as a founding member, has been with Capitol G.I. since its inception in 1997. Dr. Zimmerman sees patients in our Carmichael office
