In My Own Words
Dr. Teff completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of Missouri and spent eight years in active duty service with the United States Army. He was deployed twice to Iraq during 2003 and 2007 and awarded bronze stars for exceptionally meritorious service following each of his overseas tours. He has extensive experience with degenerative and traumatic spine disorders. His work with Army, Navy, and Air Force service members taught him many lessons about preserving high levels of athletic performance after spinal injuries and operations. Dr. Teff is originally from Omaha, Nebraska, where he attended college and medical school at Creighton University.
