Sacramento Bee highlights heart failure care at Dignity Health Heart & Vascular Institute

Heart failure affects nearly six million Americans. Roughly 670,000 people are diagnosed with heart failure each year and it is the leading cause of hospitalization in people older than 65. The Sacramento Bee profiled a 46-year-old personal trainer and his journey with heart failure with the help of his physician, Dr. Munir Janmohamed, medical director of mechanical circulatory support at the Dignity Health Heart & Vascular Institute.
