Dr. Okabe-Yamamura completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of California, San Francisco immediately followed by a Clinical Pharmacy Residency at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center. She joined Dignity Health (formerly Catholic Healthcare West) in 1989 and developed the clinical pharmacy program. She is an active member of numerous facility, regional, and enterprise committees and is the lead member of the facility pain team. Dr. Okabe-Yamamura holds adjunct professor status at the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and California Northstate University College of Pharmacy. In addition, she has been a past chair and committee member for the CSHP Public Relations Committee and currently serves on the CSHP-Sacramento Valley Mentor Program and CSHP Education and Research Foundation Boards. She was recognized as a fellow of CSHP in 2016.

Dr. Guzman Garcia completed his Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. He joined Dignity Health (formerly Catholic Healthcare West) in 2005 where he specialized in oncology and critical care. Dr. Guzman Garcia is board certified in critical care (BCCCP) and has been a contributing author to neuropharmacotherapy textbooks. In addition, Dr. Guzman Garcia holds adjunct professor status at the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and California Northstate University College of Pharmacy.
PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Dr. Khatibi completed her training in pharmacy at the Texas Tech University-Health Sciences Center, School of Pharmacy. Prior to coming to California for her residency training, she obtained a BS in biology and an MS in chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her practice interests are multifaceted including internal medicine, cardiology, antimicrobial stewardship, critical care and academia. Her long-term goals include securing a faculty position to allow her to teach skills in pharmacotherapy to the next generation of pharmacists. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys teaching traditional and modern Persian dance, running and spending time with her family.
Dr. Louie completed his pharmacy school training at the University of the Pacific, Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Stockton, California. Prior to beginning his career in pharmacy, he completed a BS in genetics from the University of California, Davis which progressed into pulmonary arterial hypertension / cell signaling research at the University of California, San Francisco. His primary areas of interest include critical care, infectious diseases and cardiology. Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys traveling, hiking, photography and searching for new food trends.
