All Dignity Health facilities, including Mercy General Hospital (MGH), have been smoke- and tobacco-free since 2011. Tobacco use and smoking is not allowed on the MGH campus or at any Dignity Health facility. This includes in private vehicles while on hospital property. Employees and visitors may choose to walk off the campus to smoke but, if so, we ask that they do not smoke on any residential property in the neighborhood, and that our neighbors and their property be respected.
