Thank you for your continued support to keep our community safe and healthy.

Parking

24-hour patient and visitor parking is available in the parking garage, located on the hospital campus just off H Street. Parking fees are $2.00 per every 30 minutes and a maximum of $12 per day. The parking spaces in front of the Emergency Department are reserved only for patients seeking immediate medical assistance.

Patients requiring wheelchair or other assistance may access the hospital through the circular driveway at the hospital's entrance. Valet parking is also available. For help, see one of the uniformed parking attendants.

Visitor Accommodations

If your loved one is in the hospital and you're far from home, the House of Mercy can help. Located just across the street from Mercy General Hospital, the House of Mercy is an apartment building with comfortable accommodations including a shared kitchen. For more information on rates and availabilities, ask to speak to someone in Admitting/Registration.

J Street Bistro

Mercy General’s J Street Bistro is located on the first floor of the hospital. Featured are a hot grill station, fresh salad/panini station, pizza, and a variety of meals, snacks and beverages. An outdoor courtyard area is available for families, guests, and employees to sit and enjoy their meal in the fresh air. The J Street Bistro is open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (hours may vary during holidays).

Gift Shop

The Gift Shop is currently unavailable, but we anticipate its reopening in the near future.

Smoking

All Dignity Health facilities, including Mercy General Hospital (MGH), have been smoke- and tobacco-free since 2011. Tobacco use and smoking is not allowed on the MGH campus or at any Dignity Health facility. This includes in private vehicles while on hospital property. Employees and visitors may choose to walk off the campus to smoke but, if so, we ask that they do not smoke on any residential property in the neighborhood, and that our neighbors and their property be respected.
