Mission, Vision and Values
At Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital, we care about you as a whole and integrated person. You think, you feel, you communicate, you have style and an approach to life. Perhaps you have deep religious beliefs or a strong connection to God; perhaps you have none at all. It is all of these non-physical parts of you that make up your spiritual self.
We want your stay here to be as emotionally and spiritually peaceful and relaxing as it can be.
It is normal to have concerns and even some anxiety while staying in the hospital. With all of this in mind, the Spiritual Care Services department invites you to call while you are staying with us. We would love to visit you and discover how we can support your physical and spiritual health.
We invite you to visit our chapel while staying at, or visiting a loved one, in the hospital. The chapel is available for prayer, meditation or quiet conversations. We have a full-time, interfaith chaplain. We are also happy to contact your personal clergy, religious or spiritual leader for you while you are in the hospital.
For more information or to have our chaplain visit your room, please call 530.274.6216.
