Chemical Peels

Our Chemical Peel portfolio includes 3 strengths of in-office peels. Each yields compelling results depending on your skin type.

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel is a treatment performed by a medical professional utilizing a chemical solution to help remove dead skin and improve smoothness and texture.

Which Skin Concerns do Chemical Peels Treat?

Chemical peels can:

  • Help reduce fine lines under the eyes and around the mouth
  • Soften wrinkles caused by sun damage and aging
  • Improve the appearance of mild scars
  • Treat certain types of acne
  • Reduce age spots, freckles, and dark patches
  • Improve the look and feel of skin

Who Is a Good Candidate For a Chemical Peel?

Generally, fair-skinned and light-haired patients are better candidates for chemical peels. If you have darker skin, you may also have good results, depending upon the type of problem being treated. You will be evaluated by our licensed skin specialists to make sure you are a good candidate and help you select the appropriate peel depending on your goals and lifestyle.

Our Chemical Peel Portfolio

Level 1
Great for a special event, produces a radiant healthy glow. Safe for all skin types. Great to wake up the skin and control dryness or mild congestion. This peel is often referred to as a “lunchtime peel” because it’s quick and there is no downtime.

Level 2
Anti-aging, rejuvenating, improving texture and clarity as well as reducing the appearance of  superficial lines and wrinkles. This is our most poplular peel and it includes all the benefits of our Level 1 peel, but it can produce a light to medium peeling for 3 days.

Level 3
This peel targets pigmentation and acne scars. Pre-treatment with pigment suppression medication or Tretinoin cream may be required. This peel requires a separate consultation prior to treatment with a medical professional as well as our nurse practitioner.
