Dr. Farmand graduated with a bachelor's degree from UCLA, a Master's in Public Health from USC, and worked as a producer in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. Interested in the intersection of medicine and media, Dr. Farmand strives to serve her community as a physician and as an advocate of evidence-based medical information in the media.

Dr. Patnala grew up in the Bay Area, but returned to her native country of India to complete her medical education. She is interested in full spectrum medicine and looks forward to working with a diverse underserved community. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, painting, and spending time with friends and family.

I value creating a trusting relationship with all my patients and enjoy collaborating with my colleagues to optimize those who individuals want the best quality of life. I love cooking, weightlifting and wakeboarding during my free time. As a physician I believe it’s critical to be well-rounded. My experience in the field of nursing, physician support (EMR) and administration allows me to give back to my patients and colleagues in many ways than one here at CHMC.

Dr. Son was raised in Southern California and graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, MI. Having worked and studied in Los Angeles and Detroit, Dr. Son is particularly interested in serving underprivileged communities in both medical and public health capacities. During his free time, he enjoys a number of hobbies that involve working with his hands, learning new cultures, and exploring new environments. He is grateful to be in Los Angeles to give back to a community that helped mold his perspectives on life.

Dr. Singh was born and raised in Cypress, California and graduated medical school from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is interested in sport’s medicine, women’s health, and underserved medicine. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, hiking, and spending time with her family/friends.

She is interested in sport’s medicine, women’s health, and underserved medicine. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball, hiking, and spending time with her family/friends. 


West Los Angeles, CA |  Medical School: Western University

Dr. Yazdani was raised in the suburbs of Houston and later moved to Los Angeles. She completed her Physiology & Neuroscience degree at the UC San Diego.  She’s volunteered at free clinics throughout LA County, studying Spanish abroad, and advocacy has shaped her into the physician she is today. Ask her about plant-based foods, optimizing mental health, and increasing exercise! In her free time she discovers new foods and cultures, explores new neighborhoods of LA, and enjoys outdoor activities.

She's excited to train at CHMC and to serve Los Angeles county residents. Her interests include education (K-12, undergraduate, and medical education), women's health, preventative health, advocacy, and human rights. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with family/friends, be involved in church community, cook, journal, Zumba, and to watch soccer games.
