At St. Mary Medical Center we offer a number of volunteer programs for mature adults, collegians and high school students. Join us as a clerical volunteer, at the information desk, in the gift shop, help with patient interaction or assist hospital staff.
Clerical Volunteer: Assist with filing, data entry, mailings and a range of other special needs.
Information Desk: Assist visitors by providing information, answering general questions and directing visitors.
Gift Shop & Wellness Boutique: For those who love to shop, the hospital's Gift Shop & Wellness Boutique would be the place to volunteer.
Patient Interaction: Assist hospital staff by distributing reading materials such as newspapers to patients.
Hospital Staff: Assist staff in a certain department of the hospital.

A hands-on clinical student volunteer internship that allows participants to interact with patients alongside the patient care team. Clinical Care Extenders rotate among 17 clinical floors, embedded with teams of health care professionals. Clinical Care Extenders also have the opportunity to join the administrative departments to assist in hospital-wide and community projects with healthcare managers and executives.

A pre-health career internship designed to offer high school students awareness of health careers under the guidance of a mentor in a clinical setting.
