Mohanad Al-Qaisi, MD

Mohanad Al-Qaisi, MD received his medical degree from ehe University of Baghdad, College of Medicine. He then completed a transitional year with the Royal Medical Services, King Hussein Medical Center in Amman, Jordan. He completed Internal Medicine residency at Maricopa County Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. He completed his GI and Hepatology fellowship through the University Of Arizona, College Of Medicine, Phoenix. In addition, Dr Al-Qaisi completed one year of advanced fellowship in Transplant Hepatology at The Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Dr. Al-Qaisi is a member of the educational committee of the American Society of Transplantation (AST). He is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), International Liver Transplant Society (ILTS), European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).

Dr. Al-Qaisi’s expertise includes chronic liver disease and cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, viral hepatitis, liver cancer, liver transplantation. Besides that, he is involved in teaching and medical education. He has multiple research projects and manuscripts that were published in peer-reviewed journals. His work has been presented at both national and international meetings.
