Office Policies

Telephone Calls
We encourage you to call our office if you have any questions or concerns about your health. Our staff has been specially trained to answer many general questions and we encourage you to take advantage of their expertise. Our goal is to return your call by the end of the day.

Medication Refills
We ask that you obtain your prescription refills at the time of your appointment. However should you require additional refills, please call your pharmacy no less than 5 days before you run out of your medicine.  Your pharmacist will then call or fax our office to confirm your refill.  

Should you use a mail order service that does not provide refill requests, please contact our office with your prescription requests. All medication refills are done electronically within 48 hours of receipt of the refill request.  

Emergent Care
We are available 24 hours a day to care for any urgent problems. After hours you will reach our automated attendant when you call our office number. Please follow the directions to reach the doctor on call. Please be advised that if you have a blocked number with caller ID, after hour patient calls cannot be returned unless you unblock your number prior to leaving a message for the on call physician.

Should you develop chest pain, shortness of breath or suffer collapse, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room. The staff will begin treatment and contact us.
