Putting off a visit to the doctor for a cough or other symptoms shouldn’t happen because of long wait times or the inability to get an appointment that day. If you are experiencing any minor illnesses or injuries, like a sore throat or sprain, you can visit a Dignity Health office for same-day care.
To seek same-day care during regular office hours, please call your primary care physician's office first before proceeding to an urgent care clinic. A provider in your doctor's office may be able to see you quickly. However, walk-ins are accepted at some locations.
With Dignity Health, you have an alternative to in-person appointments: virtual visits. You’ll be able to talk with your provider via telephone or video chat to receive care from the comfort of your home that day.
