What to Expect

Do not expect to see the final results of your surgery right away. It takes time for the visible signs of healing to subside. Bruising and swelling, while always temporary, can occasionally be significant and alarming to even the best-prepared patient.

Cosmetic procedures are safer, more effective and longer lasting than ever before. Recovery is quicker and easier. We will inform you of any restrictions to your normal activities following surgery. In general, you should not participate in strenuous exercise and other activities that raise your blood pressure, including bending, for several days to weeks (depending on what type of surgery was performed).
