Philosophy of Care: I believe in preventative care, and Pediatrics embodies the essence of that philosophy. It is far more beneficial for our health to get ahead of a disease process than to do damage control later. I follow and practice the principles of osteopathic medicine, which tell us to treat the patient as a whole person, not just a medical problem. I also think that it is important to let the body self-heal when it can, minimalize interventions to when medically necessary.
Philosophy of Care: I like to think that I learn from my patients as much they learn from me. I strive to continue learning throughout my career from all of my patients so I can deliver the care that I would want for my own children.
Philosophy of Care: Recognizing that each child is different and learning how to provide the best care for them is the first step. I strive to provide the same level of care to your child that I would want for my own child.
Philosophy of Care: I want to give children the best beginning of their life that I can. My hope is that both parents and children feel like I create a very warm, welcoming, inviting appointment and that I’ve really spent time with them.
Philosophy of Care: To provide high-quality, collaborative care in a warm, caring environment for patients and their families. I have a nursing background that promotes a holistic, patient-centered, education-focused primary care philosophy.
