Dawn M. Benford, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a nurse practitioner in the Department of Psychiatry at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.   Dawn's expertise involves the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders in the medically ill patient. She is a member of the Academy of Psychosomatic Medicine, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, American College of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
