In My Own Words
Dr. Dinowitz began his medical education at the New York University (NYU) School of Medicine in New York City where he served as class president before graduating as Valedictorian. He stayed in New York to complete his general surgery internship at NYU Medical Center and Bellevue Hospital, and spent his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Joint Disease Orthopaedic Institute, also in New York City. His fellowship training took him to Tufts University Department of Orthopedics in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Dinowitz specializes in the evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of injuries and disorders involving the hand, wrist and upper extremities. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery with added Qualification in Hand Surgery. He chose this specialization because of his love for intricate surgery. Dr. Dinowitz enjoys taking something few doctors can fix and doing his best to make it perfect again. As orthopedic surgery is ever changing, Dr. Dinowitz enjoys being part of a field of medicine that is always on the cutting edge.
