According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, it is recommended you see an OB/GYN multiple times throughout your pregnancy to ensure both your help and the unborn child’s. Your initial visit should be at 6 to 8 weeks in. Then, you should visit your OB/GYN once a month until you’re 28 to 30 weeks in; at that point, you should have checkups every 2 weeks until delivery.
Our experienced Sacramento, Carmichael, Natomas, Folsom and Elk Grove OB/GYN doctors can provide you with sonograms, ultrasounds, regular checkups, prenatal advice, preparations for labor, and much more. Then, when it’s time for delivery, your OB/GYN can be there by your side to help you through it. After delivery, we offer postnatal care for both you and your new child.
