How is Palliative Care different from Hospice?

Palliative Care is available from diagnosis through all stages of a serious illness, as extra support to improve quality of life with pain and symptom management. 

Hospice is a service provided to patient in the final months of a life-limiting illness, when curative treatments are no longer considered helpful.
