We are working diligently to reach a fair agreement with Cigna in California to protect our patients’ access to the care they need. If Cigna is unwilling to provide Dignity Health with fair and appropriate reimbursement rates, patients could lose in-network access to care as early as January 1, 2026.

As a nonprofit, mission-driven organization, fair agreements with insurance companies enable us to continue investing in our dedicated employees, provide exceptional care to our patients and ensure access to essential services for our community. 

Take action today to protect your healthcare access and choice: 

  • Call Cigna at the number on the back of your insurance card and urge them to work with Dignity Health to reach a fair agreement that prioritizes patient care. 
  • Talk to your employer’s human resources or benefits department and urge them to contact Cigna on your behalf. 
  • Call Dignity Health at 888-212-9089 to learn more about your health insurance options and how we are working to protect your access to care.
