Dignity Health Patient Visitation Policies


To ensure everyone’s safety, we are currently not allowing visitors beyond the exceptions below.

Visitor policies are subject to change without notice in order to provide the safest possible care. Please call your local hospital for the latest visitor policy.

NO VISITORS FOR:

  • COVID+ Patients
  • Infectious Isolation Patients

Inpatients and Same-Day Admits 

  • 2 visitors designated in teletracking, one at a time

Family Birth Center

  • 1 designated birth partner or coach and doula during labor and delivery
  • For post-partum and recovery: 2 visitors total designated in teletracking,
    one at a time (birth coach/partner counts as one of these two) as room capacity permits

Outpatient Visits/Procedures

  • 1 visitor in designated waiting area

Emergency Department

  • 1 support person
  • For patients under 18, 2 legal guardians

NICU/Pediatrics

  • 2 designated visitors, 2 at a time permitted when NICU capacity permits

Inpatients on comfort care, or who have dementia, physical, intellectual,
developmental disability or cognitive impairment:

  • 2 support people designated in teletracking, one at a time

Please remember...

 Dignity Health  Visiting Hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitors must be symptom free and must wear a mask at all times. 
 
Visitors are only permitted in the patient room or designated waiting areas.  
 

No children under the age of 14. 

 
Visitors must maintain physical distancing of 6 feet.             

Additional patient visitation requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
