Listen to your body

• Feeling more tired than usual or sad for no reason

  Women are more prone than men to develop depression during their lifetime. Hormonal changes might be to blame. 

• Experiencing a heavy menstrual period

  Heavy bleeding can cause health problems, including anemia. Visit your doctor if you need to change your tampon or pad every hour or if your priod lasts more than seven days.

• Urinating too often or not often enough

  Problems with your pladder shouldn't be ignored.  If you have trouble urinating or can't hold it on your way to the bathroom, its wise to call your doctor. 

• Feeling pain in the neck, jaw or throat

  Women experience heart disease differently than men.  Although some women have no symptoms, others may experience neck, jaw, throat, upper abdome or back pain.
