For more than 50 years, Dignity Health has delivered high quality, compassionate care to the people of Citrus Heights. As the population grows, we grow to meet the health care needs of the community.
The three-story Citrus Heights Medical Office Building brings primary and specialty care services to your community. It includes the latest technologies from electronic medical records to lab services and X-ray equipment.
The Citrus Heights Medical Office Building is no ordinary facility. It takes a fresh and evidence-based look at how to improve workflow and patient experience from the ground up, considering the patient experience within and beyond four clinic walls.
This approach provides the opportunity to leverage technology in meaningful ways to elevate patient experience and enhance the patient/provider connection. For this endeavor, we assembled a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, front-line staff, and patients to look at every component and patient touchpoint from start to finish. Insights from that group along with hundreds of hours of observation and data collection informed design and workflow decisions.

Dignity Health is familiar with the importance of working alongside a community during a new building project. In planning stages for this endeavor, Dignity Health met with community members, listened to neighborhood feedback, and incorporated many of those suggestions into the final design, to best meet the needs of the community.
This facility helps us meet the growing medical needs of the Citrus Heights community and improves access to quality care for residents in Citrus Heights and beyond. It represents an investment in the community that provides long-term, high-paying jobs and vital services.
But beyond health care, it is also important to us to honor what came before. The location of the new clinic has a precious history of its own. As a tribute to the nursery that once stood there, our construction crew saved a beautiful rose bush from the site and replanted it on the grounds in a dedicated area of roses, to begin the garden anew and provide a place for reflective pauses and healing, consistent with our mission to unite healing and humankindness.
We’re seeing patients for family and internal medicine, geriatric care, pediatrics, palliative care, rheumatology and more.
