Dignity Health Patient Visitation Policies


The health and safety of our patients and their loved ones remain a top priority. To ensure everyone’s safety, we are currently not allowing visitors beyond the exceptions below.

Visitor policies are subject to change without notice in order to provide the safest possible care. Please call your local hospital for the latest visitor policy.

Dignity Health

Inpatients, Pediatrics and Same Day Admits

  • 2 visitors during entire patient stay designated at time of admission
  • Only 1 visitor will be permitted to visit at a time


NICU

  • 2 designated visitors per day
  • 2 visitor at a time when NICU capacity permits

 

Emergency Department

Patients 18 years and older:

  • 1 support person

Patients under the age of 18:

  • 2 legal guardians


Outpatient Procedures
Outpatient Visits

  • 1 support person
  • Must stay in waiting room/designated waiting area

 

Laboring Mothers

  • 1 designated Birth Partner or Coach during entire patient stay

 

Comfort Care
Dementia
Physical, Intellectual, Developmental Disabilities
Cognitive Impairment

  • 2 designated support people
  • 1 visitor at a time


NO VISITORS FOR:

  • COVID+ Patients
  • Infectious Isolation Patients

Visiting Hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.


Visitors must be symptom free and must wear a mask at all times. 
 
Visitors are only permitted in the patient room or designated waiting areas.  
 

No children under the age of 14. 

 
Visitors must maintain physical distancing of 6 feet.             

Additional patient visitation requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
