The gynecology clinic within Santa Maria Women's Health Center is staffed by resident physicians in gynecology and directly supervised by board-certified attending OBGYNs. The clinic welcomes anyone experiencing GYN problems such as painful or heavy periods, prolonged or irregular vaginal bleeding, pain in the pelvis, leaking of urine (such as with coughing or sneezing), endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse of the pelvic organs aka "bladder drop," abnormal PAP tests, or any other problems with the female reproductive system.
Our physicians will evaluate your concern and discuss recommendations to address the problem. We want to involve you in the decision-making. If surgery is needed, our doctors can seamlessly offer the full range of options from traditional open surgery to minimally invasive procedures like laparoscopy and Robotic approaches.

We can offer translation services to assist our Spanish and Mixtec patients. Women are often the cornerstone of their family's health, so if they are healthy, the entire family can thrive.
