Kids are bundles of energy that come in packages of all sizes. Pediatricians understand that children aren’t simply small adults. Many factors can affect their growth and development.
The pediatricians with Dignity Health Medical Foundation like to take a holistic approach to children’s health. Our pediatricians specialize in your children's physical, emotional, and social health throughout every stage of their lives.
Philosophy of Care: I like to think that I learn from my patients as much they learn from me. I strive to continue learning throughout my career from all of my patients so I can deliver the care that I would want for my own children.

Philosophy of Care: I want to give children the best beginning of their life that I can. My hope is that both parents and children feel like I create a very warm, welcoming, inviting appointment and that I’ve really spent time with them.

Helping make sure you and your baby get off to a great start is important. Sometimes that means having someone to answer your questions, help you to learn about breastfeeding, and how to use a breast pump, should you need it.
A lactation consultant will also help you prepare for breastfeeding while you’re pregnant, addressing any concerns you may have. And once your baby is here, she’ll be there to make you feel more confident as you embark on motherhood and breastfeeding.
Why breastfeeding is important
There are so many great reasons to breastfeed your baby. Breastfeeding helps ensure that babies get the nutrients they need to grow and thrive, which means they may also get sick less often.
It’s also good for moms because it may lower your chances of getting cancer and diabetes.
Our lactation consultant can answer your questions regarding:
Breast pain and soreness
Milk supply
When to add solid food
We can offer support when you’re ready to go back to work. We understand that every woman is different. What works for one family might not work for you. But our lactation consultant can help.
With clinics throughout California, a Dignity Health Medical Foundation physician is right around the corner, waiting to assist you along your wellness journey.
