- The Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQI), in partnership with the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), awarded St. Joseph’s Westgate a Comprehensive Center accreditation. The accreditation formally acknowledges the hospital’s commitment to providing and supporting quality improvement and patient safety efforts for metabolic and bariatric surgery patients. As an accredited program, the Weight Loss Center at St. Joseph’s Westgate has demonstrated it meets the needs of its patients by providing multidisciplinary, high-quality, patient-centered care. - Achieved its second Center of Excellence accreditation and was named a Center of Excellence in Colorectal Surgery by the Surgical Review Corporation (SRC). This accreditation distinguishes the hospital as providing the highest quality of care to its patients as determined by an independent, external process of evaluation.
