Emergency & Urgent Care

Helping you stay healthy everyday

After-Hours Care

For health conditions arising outside business hours, it is important that you call your PCP for appropriate level-of-care directions. For a life-threatening health emergency, call 911.

Emergency Care

Emergency care does not require prior medical review. For any life-threatening emergency, call 911 or go directly to the nearest emergency room. Emergency services are reserved for care required as the result of unforeseen injury or acute illness for which treatment delay would result in a permanent physical impairment or loss of life. It is extremely important that you inform your PCP and health plan within 48 hours of your emergency care services. If emergency care is used in a non-emergency situation, you may be financially responsible.

Urgent Care

Before visiting an urgent Care Center, call your PCP's Office; they may have an appointment available. Conditions such as the flu, colds, and sore throats are generally treated during an office visit. If your PCP is unable to see you urgently, he or she may refer to one of the following urgent care locations.
