Arroyo Grande Community Hospital to Hold Clean Air Fair as Part of a Statewide Day of Action

ARROYO GRANDE – September 27, 2019 –  Arroyo Grande Community Hospital is participating in the 2019 CA Clean Air Day by hosting a Clean Air Fair on October 2, 2019 from 11:00am to 1:30pm in the Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Courtyard.

The community is invited to attend this free educational event, where they will learn about actions they can take to improve the community’s health while enjoying a barbecue lunch, ice cream, and booths with several local organizations. A Shred2You shred truck will be stationed at the event and all proceeds from the shred truck will benefit Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation. Additional vendors include Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Café, Talley Farms, Back N Forth, the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District, and more.

California Clean Air Day is a non-profit, statewide program built on the idea that shared experiences unite people to action to improve our community’s health. On October 2, 2019, Californians across the state will take actions to clear the air and improve their and their community’s health.
