Arroyo Grande Community Hospital is Seeking Volunteers

Posted in:
Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH), which along with French Hospital Medical Center (FHMC), and Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC), are Dignity Health Central Coast hospitals, is seeking friendly and dependable volunteers to dedicate their time, talents, and resources to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

AGCH is a 65 bed hospital with a 20 bed acute rehabilitation facility that has been offering health care services to Central Coast residents for more than 50 years. The full-service medical facility, located in the heart of San Luis Obispo County, is recognized for excellence in acute rehabilitation, orthopedics, and emergency care, and cancer care.

The team of volunteers at AGCH share a desire to use their life experiences, education, and concern for others to support those in need.  Every volunteer plays an active role in the healing process of our patients.  Our volunteers come from many parts of San Luis Obispo County and provide valuable service and support in many areas, including:

  • Hospitality and Guest Services
  • Patient and Family Escorts
  • Patient Comfort Services
  • Pet Therapy
  • Music Therapy

To learn how you can make a difference through volunteering, please call Colleen Twomey, Volunteer Services Manager, at (805) 739-3520.
