Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation is pleased to share that it has received a $25,000 gift from Rabobank N.A. to benefit the Foundation's Legacy Campaign, which includes the expansion of Emergency Department capacity, upgraded imaging technology and services, enhanced Acute Rehabilitation services, and Oncology services.

In recognition of the donation, a therapy room in the Acute Rehabilitation Center at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital will be named the Rabobank Acute Rehabilitation Center Therapy Room.

“The rehabilitative care delivered at the center greatly impacts the lives of its patients and their families,” said Dan Snowden, Senior Vice President and Retail Market Manager for Rabobank.  “We are honored to support the organization and to play a part in the recovery of those in our community.”

The Emergency Department and Acute Rehabilitation Center are often filled to capacity, and will undergo critical expansions to accommodate the high volume of patients and provide a better patient experience. Updated imaging equipment will provide greater image resolution for more accurate diagnoses and increased comfort, as well as a more comprehensive imaging program. Cancer and infusion services will be available on-site in a space dedicated to treatment, recovery, and education with a team of oncologists and specialists.

“Community support is essential to our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality, affordable health services for our community. We are so grateful to our community partners like Rabobank who understand the need and care about the health and future of our community,” said Montisa Phelan Lopez, Vice President of Philanthropy at Arroyo Grande Community Hospital Foundation.
