Rock Totally Awesome Outfit to Support Local Cancer Patients

The Arroyo Grande Community Hospital (AGCH) Foundation is excited to announce a special showing of the movie Pretty in Pink. All of the funds raised at the event will benefit the AGCH Cancer Care Fund, which supports programs and services for cancer patients in our community.

Come dressed in your totally awesome 80’s attire, or wear something pink and come out for a special showing of the movie classic Pretty in Pink on Sunday, October 25 at 5:00 p.m. at the Clark Center, 487 Fair Oaks Avenue, Arroyo Grande.  

The AGCH Cancer Care Fund was established to assist local cancer patients and their families with basic needs such as grocery gift cards, gas gift cards, and other daily expenses during their cancer treatment. Every patient has unique needs in their fight against cancer and the Cancer Care Fund helps patients overcome simple barriers by providing relief, making their cancer journey much more manageable.

“Movie night is a fun way for our community to come together and support loved ones, friends, and fellow community members fighting their cancer battles,” says AGCH Foundation Vice President of Philanthropy, Montisa Phelan Lopez.

For a cost of $30.00, attendees will receive appetizers and movie snacks along with a showing of the movie at 6:00 p.m. Beer, wine, raffle tickets, and commemorative stones will also be available for purchase.
