An Important Moment For Health Care
The biggest reform of U.S. health care since Medicare and Medicaid were launched nearly 50 years ago is beginning. At Dignity Health, we have been advocating for meaningful reform since our founding.
Our Dignity Health Enroll website has been established to help our patients learn if they are now eligible for subsidized care through the exchanges or for Medicaid. The site includes links to tools and resources to educate patients and help them enroll for health care coverage.
Insurance is important so that you and your family can access the medical care you need, when you need it, at an affordable price. And you cannot be denied insurance or charged more money because of your medical history.
- Individuals, families and small group employers (less than 50 employees) to sign up for health insurance through the Health Insurance Exchanges, also known as the Marketplaces.
- Sign up by the deadlines for coverage that will go into effect within months.
- Subsidies are available that will help many individuals and families afford health insurance. In addition, millions of additional people will qualify for Medicaid.
