Marian Regional Medical Foundation Announces Appointment of New Board Members

Three new board members join the Marian Foundation's Board

SANTA MARIA, CA – July 15, 2019 – The Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) Foundation is honored to continue its great leadership tradition with the appointment of three new board members and new Foundation Board officers. 

Joining the Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation Board of Directors are Willard Chung, MD, Scott Coe, and Julie Darrah. 


Willard Chung, MD: Dr. Chung is the Director of the Family Medicine Residency Program at Marian Regional Medical Center. As a dedicated family medicine physician, Dr. Chung has more than 10 years of clinical experience and has overseen the growth of the residency program. He championed the addition of Integrative Medicine in the program and has seen this new and exciting opportunity for the program to flourish in the community.

 

 


Scott Coe: Scott is the Chief Communications Officer for CoastHills Credit Union. Bringing more than 15 years of experience in corporate branding, facilities, education, and corporate governance for CoastHills. He has overseen the construction and remodeling of 10 branch projects and the new $30 million Corporate Headquarters Project. As chair of the CoastHills Community Foundation, Scott has helped raise and donate more than $1.2 million in less than 10 years, including more than $300,000 to benefit Mission Hope Cancer Center and the Emergency Services Expansion Project. 

 


Julie Darrah: Julie is the co-founder and president of Vivid Financial Management, bringing more than 25 years of financial planning to the Marian Foundation. Julie’s vast knowledge working with families and small businesses sets her and Vivid apart from their peers.  Julie represents the firm to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as the Chief Compliance Officer as well as holding numerous FINRA licenses. With an award named in her father’s honor for an outstanding city of Lompoc employee (The Jim Darrah Public Servant Award), Julie is the driving force for many of her company’s community events, as well as placing her on other community boards where she can continue to make a difference and provide the same exhale moment she provides her clients. She is a native to the Central Coast and is continually finding ways to improve the lives of those around her.  


The Executive Committee Officers who will lead the Board of Directors are Jason Diani, Chair, Christina Slimack, Vice-Chair, Mario Juarez, Secretary/Treasurer, and George Murphy, Immediate Past Chair.
