SANTA MARIA, CA – October 16, 2020 – Mission Hope Cancer Center is pleased to announce the upcoming virtual education event ‘Girls Night In,’ a discussion with medical oncologists about gynecological and breast cancer treatments. Community members are encouraged to attend this free event, which will offer a panel of expert physicians and the opportunity for participants to ask questions. Topics of discussion will include: early detection, prevention strategies, treatment advancements, and survivorship techniques.

This informative event will take place Thursday, October 22 at 5:30p.m. and will be held virtually due to the pandemic. The popular annual event, typically titled ‘Girls Night Out’ will be held via Zoom this year. To register, please call (805) 346-3402

While October serves as a gentle reminder to schedule your breast screenings, we encourage community members to remember all essential screenings. Although we are still in a pandemic, we are encouraging individuals to get the care that they need. Delaying routine screenings - such as a mammogram or colonoscopy - can put you people great risk. A delay in seeking treatment could make all the difference in health outcomes.
