Marian Regional Partners with Vision Service Plan and SLO NOOR Clinic

Posted in:
Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) in partnership with the SLO Noor Clinic and the Vision Service Plan is hosting free eye exams during the fourth annual SLO NOOR Eye Clinic.

During the event, participants will receive a comprehensive eye exam from a Vision Service Plan physician.  If prescribed, patients can also select high quality glasses at no cost.

Free comprehensive eye exams will be available on East Cypress Way across from Marian Regional Medical Center on Monday, November 7 and Tuesday, November 8 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All services will be available to anyone between the ages of 18 and 64 who do not have any medical or vision care insurance. Patients must provide a social security number in order to qualify.

Vision and eye examinations are an important part of preventative health care. Early diagnosis and treatment of eye and vision problems can help prevent vision loss and improve overall health. During the comprehensive eye exam, the physician will not only determine a need for a corrective prescription, but will also check for common eye diseases and conditions.

Dignity Health is dedicated to providing compassionate and affordable care to all of our community members. To make an appointment or find more information, call the SLO NOOR Clinic at (805) 439-1797.
