Marian Regional Medical Center Announces Graduation of Hospital's Inaugural Class of OB-GYN Residency Program and Sixth Class from the Family Medicine Residency Program

SANTA MARIA, CA – June 28, 2022 – On Saturday, June 25, Marian Regional Medical Center (MRMC) hosted its sixth annual Marian Family Medicine Residency Program Graduation. In addition to these graduates, Marian celebrated the inaugural class of Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB-GYN) Residents.

The eight graduates were elated to have completed the program, and celebrated with faculty and staff at the event. Congratulations to the following:

  • Derin Deniz Allard, DO
  • Linda Shiao-Meei Baldwin, DO
  • Patrick Augustine Coughlin, MD
  • Ying (Kathy) Guo, DO
  • Matthew Huy Nguyen, DO
  • Arielle Marie Tucker, MD

  • Kavita Jain, MD

The Marian Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program has recruited top physician faculty and skilled health care professionals and is currently recruiting prospective physician residents who all share one commonality: passion and expertise to be the best in their field. 

Marian welcomed its first class of OB-GYN physician residents in 2018. Marian has long been a local health leader in Santa Maria and delivers the highest number of infants throughout the Central Coast with more than an average of 257 deliveries a month.
