Mission Hope Cancer Center Celebrates Ten Years with Community Prevention, Treatment, and Survivorship Seminar

SANTA MARIA, CA – August 16, 2022 – Mission Hope Cancer Center opened its doors to the public in 2012, and as the first comprehensive cancer center on the Central Coast, has since served thousands of patients and their families. To show appreciation for the community, and to celebrate this milestone anniversary, MHCC is hosting a free Prevention, Treatment, and Survivorship Seminar this Saturday, August 20 from 10:00am until noon in Santa Maria. 

The event will include a panel of expert oncologist, hematologists, and gastroenterologist to discuss facts about cancer prevention strategies, early detection, treatment advances, and survivorship techniques. The day will offer practical guidance of staying well, improving quality of life and maintaining hope through your cancer journey and beyond. A question and answer period will follow the discussion.

In addition to the cancer survivorship seminar, the anniversary celebration includes an informative Health and Wellness Booths featuring information about: nutrition, cancer rehabilitation, cancer screenings, and cancer survivorship. Complimentary gourmet treats will also be provided by Tracy Labastida of Field to Table Catering.
