We to offer a number of Childbirth and Parenting Classes to help women and their partners to know what to expect at delivery and to prepare to care for their newborn child. We encourage you to participate in the classes that meet your needs as you prepare to welcome your newborn.

This four week series of classes provides the expectant mother and her coach with the knowledge and support necessary for a prepared and positive birth experience.
The classes include information on the third trimester of pregnancy, natural comfort methods, potential medical procedures during labor, medical pain management options, information on cesarean section, a comprehensive virtual Birthing Center tour, and what to expect during childbirth recovery.
Breastfeeding and Infant Care information will be offered in separate classes. Please register for these classes separately.
Please schedule classes to begin in your 30th to 32nd week of pregnancy. Ideal for first time parents, this series of evening classes is offered monthly on selected Tuesdays and Thursdays. After choosing the day and month, you will attend four consecutive weeks on the day selected.

During this fun and informative class for children age five to ten, big brothers and sisters learn about life at home with a new baby.

This one time class is ideal for first time parents or as a refresher for parents expecting again. Topics include: the benefits of breastfeeding, infant hunger cues, breastfeeding positions, attaining an effective latch, working while breastfeeding and much more! Partners are encouraged to attend. Class is available on select Mondays from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.

This one time class provides information and tips on caring for your newborn. Topics include: routine hospital procedures after birth, safe sleep, bathing, feeding, diapering, swaddling, and calming a fussy baby and more in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. This class includes a demonstration with a life-sized doll. Classes are offered on selected Mondays, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM.

Join other new mothers, a lactation consultant and/or a Mother/Baby Care RN to ask questions and share information during this free support group. We discuss various topics related to breastfeeding, parenthood and adjusting to life with a new baby. Mothers, babies, and partners are welcome. There is Spanish translation available.
This group meets selected Thursdays and Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.

Are you looking for a supportive group to understand the emotional highs and lows of motherhood? Moms FIRST! is a weekly group designed for pregnant and postpartum women who probably have the same struggles and questions as you do. This casual, welcoming group is here for you whether you are looking for resources, seeking emotional support, struggling with anxiety and/or depression, or simply needing encouragement.
Research shows mental health issues are the most common complication of pregnancy, so know that you are not alone. Group facilitators include licensed mental health professionals, postpartum and lactation nurses, and childbirth educators.

This one time class is designed as an additional session of Childbirth Preparation and will focus on personal determination, coping strategies and comfort techniques for women and families interested in an unmedicated birth. Please have a pillow and a blanket/yoga mat.
