Mission Hope Cancer Center is the first integrated oncology facility on the Central Coast and is designed to enhance patient comfort, convenience, safety, and service.
Mission Hope is accredited as a Comprehensive Community Cancer Center by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer. Accreditation by the Commission on Cancer (CoC), a quality program of the American College of Surgeons, demonstrates a cancer program’s commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.
Mission Hope Cancer Center represents a new level of advanced comprehensive cancer care and treatment for central coast residents and their families. This state-of-the-art, 44,000-square-foot facility brings the services a person receiving cancer treatment and their family may need under one roof, right here in Santa Maria.
Leading edge technology and advanced treatment options often available only at major teaching centers are available at Mission Hope Cancer Center. Rather than having to travel to receive the most current treatments, patients can stay close to home.
Our expert physicians and other health care professionals have trained at the nation’s top medical schools. The multi-disciplinary team collaborates to provide each patient with a customized treatment plan and provide support through their cancer journey.
As a UCLA affiliate, Mission Hope Cancer Center promotes and facilitates participation in a multitude of clinical trials and has the highest percentage of patients on clinical trials than any other UCLA satellite site in the nation. Through the UCLA Clinical Research Network, clinical trial offerings are administered by Central Coast Medical Oncology physician and health care specialists collaborating with UCLA research nurses and coordinators – allowing patients to receive the latest treatment offerings all while remaining close to home.
