Family medicine is based on an ongoing, personal patient-physician relationship that is focused on integrated care. Family practice physicians are also referred to as primary care physicians (PCP) general practitioners and family medicine physicians. Family medicine physicians at Dignity Health Medical Foundation are committed to building ongoing relationships with patients to provide the best care possible.

Family medicine services

The family practice physicians at Dignity Health Medical Groups provide complete care for your entire family, diagnosing and treating a variety of health conditions and diseases for patients of all ages. In addition to diagnosing and treating acute and chronic illnesses, family practice physicians provide routine health screenings and preventive care to prevent illnesses before they develop. And, if a health condition arises that requires care from another specialist, your family physician will be there to guide you and to coordinate all aspects of your care.
