St. Joseph's Westgate Medical Center, located in Glendale, AZ, is a verified Level IV Trauma Center, bringing expert trauma care to the West Valley. Our dedicated trauma team provides rapid stabilization and advanced life support (ATLS) for critically injured patients, ensuring quick access to life-saving treatment. When needed, we seamlessly transfer patients requiring more specialized care to St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix.

ERAdvisor

ERAdvisor is a new Dignity Health service that updates patients and families on their phones about their progress in the emergency department. All patients need to do is provide a cell phone number to registration staff to get started.

At St. Joseph's Westgate, we understand that waiting in the emergency room when you're not feeling well is never fun. That's why we offer InQuicker, an online tool designed to reduce your ER wait time and prioritize your comfort.

With InQuicker, you can select your estimated arrival time and wait comfortably at home until it's time to be seen. Upon arrival, simply check in with an admitting nurse, and you can usually expect to see a doctor in under 20 minutes. Our emergency department doctors will assess your situation and determine the best level of care for you.

 

We offer three levels of care to ensure you receive the right treatment:

 

  • Fast Track: For minor emergencies, like cuts or broken bones, receive treatment and recover at home.
  • Treat and Anticipate Disposition: For conditions requiring short-term medication or IV fluids, such as the flu or food poisoning.
  • Acute Care: For serious conditions like stroke or heart attack, receive immediate interventions and intensive monitoring.
