Partners for Healthy Students: Supporting Student Success Through Health

When children are healthy, they thrive – both in and out of the classroom. In western Yavapai County, Partners for Healthy Students (PHS), a network of school-based pediatric clinics supported by Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC), ensures that students have access to the vital healthcare they need to succeed.

Learn More About the PHS Program

Since 1999, Partners for Healthy Students (PHS) has been providing essential healthcare services to students and their siblings across western Yavapai County. Our school-based clinics serve the Chino Valley, Humboldt, and Prescott Unified School Districts, as well as local charter schools. In 2014, we expanded our reach with a Mobile Health Clinic, bringing vital care to more rural communities like Kirkland, Hillside, Mayer, Paulden, Yarnell, and Wilhoit.

Our dedicated PHS clinical team, comprised of two certified pediatric nurse practitioners, two program coordinators, and a consulting pediatrician, provides comprehensive care, including:

  • Well-child and adolescent exams
    • Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses
    • Medication prescription and monitoring
    • Sports physicals
    • Referrals to medical specialists
