Spiritual Care Services
Dignity Health and Yavapai Regional cares for the whole person – body, mind and spirit. That’s why Spiritual Care Services are available to you and your loved ones throughout your medical treatment.
In a spirit of loving concern and our Total Healing Environment, spiritual aid and comfort are offered to all patients, their families and friends according to their beliefs and preferences, without violating the individual’s religious tradition.
Board certified chaplains are trained to engage various faith traditions and are available for:
- Spiritual counseling, support and ethical consultation
- Assistance with advanced healthcare planning
- Spiritual or cultural concerns affecting your treatment
- Support with grieving
The Chaplain of the Day is available for emergencies and special requests on a 24-hour basis.
In an emergency, your caregiver can call a Chaplain, your Pastor, Priest, Rabbi or other faith leader upon your request. If you want to see a Chaplain and there is no emergency, please tell your nurse or leave a message at the nurses’ station.
The Chaplain’s office and the chapel are located next to the main entrance.
