YRMC Pharmacy Residency
Dignity Health Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) offers an ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency, providing a unique rural hospital training experience within a nationally recognized system.
Clinical pharmacists are integral, participating in direct patient care and medication therapy across various units like ICU, Med-Surg, ED, and outpatient clinics. YRMC optimizes pharmacist involvement using technology and technicians, allowing focus on medication-related issues. Professional development is emphasized through training pharmacy students and residents, with affiliations to The University of Arizona and Midwestern University.
The residency prepares graduates for roles as clinical staff pharmacists, adjunct faculty, or specialized post-graduate residents.
