Services are provided by a committed, caring staff. Each in-home care attendant participates in a state-certified training program that includes:
- Alzheimer's Disease
- Basic nutrition
- Elder abuse prevention
- Diabetes awareness
- Hospice care
- Personal care needs
Additionally, each attendant completes a background check, a physical and a Tuberculosis Skin Test (TB) and is CPR/First Aid certified.
The Homemaker Care Program also provides job training to unemployed individuals on public assistance by helping them learn marketable skills and transition to the work force.
