Marian Regional Circle of Friends Employee Giving Campaign

Posted in:
Marian Regional Medical Center employees and volunteers wrapped 2016 in a big way with the successful completion of the annual Circle of Friends Giving Campaign.

The Marian Foundation is pleased to announce that through the efforts of many, the previous record of $245,000 was surpassed and a new record of $262,000 in employee and volunteer contributions was established.

The annual campaign provides invaluable support to Marian programs and services, as well as the Friendship Fund, an employee assistance fund. More than 1,230 employees—65% of the entire organization—contributed to the campaign, which was an 18% participation increase from the 2015 campaign. Additionally, six teams earned 100% participation in the month-long campaign: HIM/Coding. Environmental Services, Telemetry, Finance, EHR/Informatics, and Foundation/Volunteer Services.

Jessa Brooks, Vice President of Philanthropy, shares, “Campaign contributions from our employees and volunteers are particularly special gifts because members of our team not only give tirelessly of their service each and every day to patients and families, but they have gone above and beyond by making a personal contribution in support of the lifesaving programs and services they champion. This impressive campaign outcome demonstrates that every contribution, no matter the size, combines to make a truly meaningful difference.”

As employees and volunteers, the campaign’s supporters witness first-hand how giving is one of the most powerful expressions of compassion and the recent campaign outcome is a testament to the generosity of the Marian family.
